Burke Composite Design Mark VII Red was the only train running on the last day of March, and that wouldn't last all that long, as the unit would break down a few hours after it was seen passing the main entrance here. This train was delivered back on December 20 of 2007, making it the first of the Mark VIIs on the property. It was built in Vancouver, BC and travels on a 2.5 mile long loop (for about a 13 minute long trip around the park). This was the first time I have ever been to the park and witnessed only a single train servicing the entire monorail ride. When it brokedown, a diesel tractor came out to rescue it, scurrying along the track. |
