Coal was moved from the mine to the loader via the covered conveyor belt shown here, but there was also a dual-gauge rail line between these two locations. The 42-inch gauge was used to move machinery back and forth between the mine's machine shop and the loader, while the standard gauge was used to move supplies to the mine. |
