Nice.Saw these alot in Portland,Or.They were a disconnected branch of the Milwaukie road,served by barge to Port Townsend,Wa.from Seattle.railroasd was built as the Port Townsend Southern,and ran from P T to Port Angeles.It served a Crown Zellerback papaer mill in P T.Unfortunately,Its all gone now.

The BN picked up some of these cars after the SNCT died-saw them quite frequently in Fargo in the late 1980s. Didn't look this good, however!

Not so long ago, i saw an ex-snc boxcar, original paint. except a leasing company patched it, saw it on the UP Portland sub.
