Jim Sims	General	Very nice photo, Mr Davis! Are they still running these colorful units? I grew up in Florence, AL, and as a young boy I remember the little Ten Wheelers, later the L&N used Pacifics, Ks-1 and still later, larger Pacifics, as these enginee were bumped off main line trains by diesels. I believe the assigned motive power was the L&N's only gas-electric on the on the L&N's motive power roster. TSRk Southbound Local Freight Train ( Columbia, Tn. to Florence, Al. Turn ) departing Mt. Pleasant, Tn. on their way to interchange with NS in Florence, Al. TSRR interchanges with CSXT in Columbia, Tn. & NS in Florence, Al. The few times I've visited the TSRR the northbound goes north to Columbib, Tn. from Mt. Pleasant, Tn. early in the morning to interchange with CSXT & heads back south in the afternoon to Lawrenceburg, Tn. where the 1st crew ties down, then another crew comes on duty around 6:00 pm at Lawrenceburg, Tn. to take the^train on to Florence, Al. to interchange with NS
