| Burlington Northern Railroad SD9's 6183 and 6178 at Galesburg, Illinois on September 17, 1993, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. A rather unfortunate photographic situation, but sometimes you take what you can get, and this is the only photo I have of 6183. Built in October 1957 as CB&Q SD9 436 (c/n 23615) on EMD Order 5547, it became BN 6183 and later BNSF 6183, retired in May 1999. |
