| As long as I posted a ground pic of the Batavia Yard, this aerial view taken 6 years ago gives you a better idea of its size. The former NYC "peanut" line can be seen as a Y in the upper left corner. Built in 1853, it was torn up in 1962. A major artery from Canandaiqua to Niagara Falls in its day! |
