| UTA's construction of the ''Front Runner Project'' Is progressing quite well in Provo. Where the newly constructed piece of track sits is where Union Pacific's Original Provo-Salt Lake City Mainline once stood. The track was ripped out in the summer of 2008 between Provo and Lakota Junction. UP Train coming in and out of Provo now use the former Rio Grande Mainline to the right. |
