| This view is looking North from North Claiborne Avenue. The New Orleans Terminal Company first built track here between 1905 and 1908 to provide terminal facilities for its owners, the Southern Railway and the Frisco. The March 1980 Code Location Guide shows Claiborne Team Tracks 1-3 on the left (west) side of the main line and Claiborne Team Tracks 6-8 on the right side. The team tracks ran two blocks, to N. Galvez. The code book shows Brick Unlimited, Inc. on the left at Galvez. The only other location idetified between Claiborne and Broad is the Broad Street Team Track. |
