I rode this unit with my freind Earl Slaughter on the day he retired in 1995.The engine was lead on the lake yard transfer out of Brooklyn yard in Portland,and stopped at the private car shop to where I worked to pick up the SP buisiness car Stanford to deliver it to Union station.
