Keeping the 4809 company on this day is CPR 8921, built in 1957 as MLW RSD-17 demonstrator (c/n 81603) on order 4901, first painted as CPR 7007, from May to December 1957, then CN 3899 from December 1957 to March 1958, then PGE 624 from April to October 1958. It was fully painted for each of these railroads. It was acquired by CPR in 1959 and became CPR 8921. |
