| This was car 145 on the 1975 Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey blue train. It was originally New York Central 13-double-bedroom sleeper 10536 LA PORTE COUNTY, built by Pullman-Standard as a Plan 4071C car in Lot 6618. It was placed in service on 17 October 1940, withdrawn from Pullman lease on 20 March 1967, and sold to Ringling. The car was photographed in the Illinois Central Gulf's Poydras Yard. At that time, the Ringling cars did not wear any reporting mark. |
