Originally built by the Pullman Car Company in 1926, this car was typical of coaches purchased in large numbers during the 1910s & 1920s. However these cars were soon rendered obsolete with the arrival of new streamlined cars in the 1930's. This car was then modernized to continue operation with newer equipment. After rebuilding it operated on Chicago to New Orleans train the Panama Limited. This is paraphrased from plaque on the car. |
