Here is page 17 of a 22-page booklet published by the Pennsylvania Railroad entitled "Modern Power For Today's Trains." It was issued originally during July of 1949. Top Photo, Partial Caption: "For general service, as well as freight car transfer service between yards. Sometimes used as a helper." Shown here is PRR engine #9307, an FS-20 built by Fairbanks-Morse in December of 1948, rated at 2,000 horsepower, and retired in September of 1965. Bottom Photo, Partial Caption: "For general service. Wheels arranged in four-wheel trucks." Shown here is PRR engine #9164, an ES-10 switcher built by GM-EMD in February of 1948 and rated at 1,000 horsepower.
