PRR 6931, M-1, c. 1952         
Showalter. Here is an original photo of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6931, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during November of 1926 and retired in January of 1952 after 26 years of faithful service. The headlight, bell, and main driving rods have been removed in preparation for scrapping. The photographer's name, the date, and the location are not recorded.
