CRI&P GOLDEN SUNSET         
CRI&P 4 double bedroom-4 compartment-2 drawing room (4DB-4C-2DR) sleeper GOLDEN SUNSET (ex-#207) (P-S, Lot #6668, Plan #4069H, March 1942), built for assignment to the GOLDEN STATE LIMITED, sold to the CRI&P at the 12/31/1945 Pullman lightweight divestiture, name applied in August 1947, painted in IC colors between February 1953 and July 1954, retired in April 1967 and resold in 1968 to Judge Roy Hofheinz for his planned Astrodomain railcar hotel in Houston, plans later cancelled and car subsequently scrapped. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate 35mm slide, brand is unknown. Date and photographer are unknown.
