AT&SF RDC's #DC-191 and #DC-192 (Budd, Lot #9681-123, April 1952), built for assignment to the Surf Line, wrecked on January 22nd, 1956 at Redondo Junction in L.A., afterwards both sent to Topeka for repairs, with #DC-192 rebuilt in mid-1957 to RDC-2, both subsequently reassigned to Newton-Dodge City, reassigned in 1965 to El Paso-Albuquerque, both retired in 1968; #DC-191 sold in 1970 to the B&O as #1913, then renumbered later that year to #9918, later resold to PATrain (Allegheny County Port Authority; ACPA), still as #9918, later resold to Maryland DOT, still as #9918, later resold to the Pacific Railroad Society (PAR), planned to be moved to the Southern California RY Museum (Perris, CA); #DC-192 sold in 1970 to Vane Jones (Indianapolis), later scrapped.
