CP 0-10-0 #6952
This is actually a 0-10-0 yard switcher but there is no listing in the RRPA for this rare wheel configuration os an 0-8-0 listing was used. Only three 0-10-0 locos were built by the CP Angus Shops in 1914, the only 0-10-0 on their roster as their W1a class. Loco #6952 served faithfully until being scrapped in February of 1957 after 43 years. Original specs - 51" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 23.5x30" cylinders, engine weight of 241,000 lb, impressive tractive effort of 55,225 lb. J.R. Quinn photo
