| In the late 1990s, the train manufacturer Adtranz (later Bombardier) developed a new electric multiple unit called Regina. It was adapted to Swedish conditions and the Swedish load gauge of 3450 mm, which is larger than international standards. All Regina trains are owned by the national train rental company Transitio. |
