LN 6605 Thanks to Allen Jenkins for the description.
It was about ten years old in 1985. They were all exclusive to the L&N Family Lines System. If not wreaked, it became a shoving platform for the CSX. It originally did not have the middle stringer between the top railing & floor, that was installed to all these cars later. It used a belt-driven generator off an axle, with a storage battery. They called it a "transfer caboose," but they occasionally worked the road freights & locals.
