| Precision National SD24 6326 on the BN at Clyde, Illinois on an unknown day in October 1979, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Built in October 1959 as Southern SD24 2507 (c/n 25603) on EMD Order 5606, it as renumbered in 1972 by the Southern to 6326. In January 1978 it was sold to PNC and put into a lease pool and leased to the Milwaukee Road and then the BN for about a year. It was returned to PNC and scrapped. Also seen is PNC GP7 125, built in October 1953 as UP GP7 725 (c/n 18716), sold to PNC in October 1977, leased until June 1986, then became IAIS 325. |
