Built in June 1952 (c/n 16522) on EMD Order 3149, this locomotive was sold to the Alaska Railroad becoming ARR 1526 in May 1970 and was traded to EMD in 1978. The crew has changed and the green flags are being removed as the train proceeds westward from train order territory to CTC.. |
