Built by Pullman in 1928 as a 14 section sleeper in Lot #6126 to Plan #3958A, 1 of 7 such sleepers built in that Lot for the OVERLAND LIMITED. In 1958, Pullman sold the OVERDALE to Royal American Shows, which later sold the car to the Tibley, San Antonio & Cypress (the Orange Belt). The OVERDALE is 1 of 3 Orange Belt cars that are now at Latonia; the other 2 are the LAKE MANSFIELD and the JOVITA. For more info, see Robert J. Wayner's "The Complete Roster of Heavyweight Pullman Cars", Tom Madden's Pullman Project CCR database: http://pullmanproject.com/Database.htm, and the "Surviving Pullman Heavyweight Sleeping Cars" thread on RYPN: http://www.rypn.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=30187
