Built by Pullman in 1914 as a 12 section-1 drawing room (12S-1DR) sleeper in Lot #4249 to Plan #2410A, 1 of 80 such sleepers built in that Lot. In 1942, the JOVITA was converted to a "Tourist Car". Tourist cars carried numbers rather than names: the JOVITA became #2386. In 1948, Pullman sold the #2386 to Royal American Shows, which later sold the car to the Tibley, San Antonio & Cypress (the Orange Belt). The JOVITA is 1 of 3 Orange Belt cars that are now at Latonia; the other 2 are the LAKE MANSFIELD and the OVERDALE. For more info, see Robert J.
