Lots of gone stuff
Most of what you see here at the east end of Suffern yard is gone: the Comet IA, Conrail, the Ford lead the CR geep sits on, and the run-through switches on the yard lead.

Brian H General correction: Actually MNCR/NJT (Doesn't Matter) was rebuilt in 1978 by Morrison Knudson from an arrow I electric mu. 8/3/2006 3:45:03 PM
Kevin Wong General These are NOT Arrow Is. Again, Budd had some surplus Arrow III shells in 1978 and used them for these cars. The Comet I-Bs were rebuilt from Arrow Is. They're now sitting on a scrap line in Ohio. 9/3/2006 12:24:09 AM
Brian H General I apolize Mr. Wong. I get confused some times. These cars were one of my favorite MNCR cars on NJT. My favoites are probably the ex NJT cabs that MNCR had for a short time (5135 and 5136). If NJT left these cars in Port Jervis for a while longer they would have been scraped there because of the constant fires sent in these. 12/5/2006 9:29:18 PM
