| In the mid eighties a new engine of medium power was needed by privat rail companies in Switzerland. For the first time in Swiss passenger locomotive construction the electric converter technology was implemented with the serie 456. Here two SOB trains crossing each other, left the 45692 pushing at regional express train to Lucerne, while on the right 456095 came in opposite direction to eastern Switzerland. Both show promotion livery, the 092 promotes for the Police School of eastern Cantons in Switzerland, the 095 shows the selfpromotion livery of 100 years of SOB. |
