Beautiful album D.H.! How can you tell how heavy the train is? And, are they heading downgrade here?

In this shot they are going uphill. They had 88 cars and 46 intermodel platforms heading north out of Binghamton. The two AC's were in Run 8 and the train was only making single digit speeds going up the grade through here.
