| TCRT 1239 is a "gate car" in that passengers boarded and detrained via the gated end you see here. Crewmembers had the option of boarding via a door up front. The 1239 no doubt once traveled the original streetcar rails to Lake Minnetonka between 1906-1932, when trolleys gave way to buses beyond Hopkins, MN. |
