Why do these engines have 4 four axle trucks when they can use 2 six axle trucks insted?

The engines of these trucks are adapted for better cornering performance, as the region where these locomotives have run a lot of curve and requires more of the locomotives. This adaptation began to be made to the B30-7 locomotives that were purchased by VALE and later became BB36-7
