Penn Central 7129 ALEXANDER HAMILTON was a Pullman plan 9529 blunt-end observation car built by Budd in January 1952 as Pennsylvania Railroad 7129. It and its twin 7128 GEORGE WASHINGTON had 18 parlor seats, a buffet, and a 25-seat lounge; and were built for service on the CONGRESSIONAL. They became Amtrak 3711 and 3712 in 1976 and were retired the next year. (approximate month) |
