The french Sub-Division Euro Cargo Rail of the German DB Schenker Rail (UK) provides bulk freight and intermodal logistics around France. Around 1000 trains per year operate european wide under the Euro Cargo Rail label. The company became a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn in 2007 when its parent EWS was acquired. By 2010 it was the second rail freight company in France after SNCF with almost 10% of the market. |
