Robert Anderson General The CGW Belt yd was extra interesting then. If a long cut was being switched,they would call the Hoffman Tower from the Belt phone box for the plant. Careful which route you gave him because they would not complete the route thru the plant,leaving a portion to be run down with timeout clocks. Several minutes were involved if the Psgr mains were part of it. A psgr or a Rocket frt could run up from Newport in a hurry. This was solved later by extending the belt yd lead to a bumper for more head room. Remember CGW cow/calfs here. Well done. 6/7/2018 12:38:07 AM
