The GP30 gets to be the leader on the excursion train going back to Cumberland. Here it is along the Great Allegheny Passage approaching Baltimore Street and Downtown Cumberland. The steam engine came back from Frostburg separately from this train. This is a restored former Conrail 2175/Reading 3607 engine, as the original Western Maryland Railway never had any GP30's on their roster. Built in April 1962. |
