A different look to the Lake Shore Limited today
Today's version of the Lake Shore Limited (which was about 20 minutes late into Erie at 7:45am and left at 7:49am, but must have got slowed down somewhere, since it should have been past North East at about 8:10am or so, but it didn't pass by me until 8:24am) looks a little different than normal. The power is the usual 2 P42's along with the head end baggage car and Viewliner sleeper. In the place of the usual Amfleet cafe, there is a Horizon cafe, and at the end of the train is the usual Heritage dining car, but only one Viewliner instead of the normal 2 Viewliners, and the baggage car bringing up the rear. No clue as to why there is one less Viewliner on the train today.
