Santa Claus, who looks an awful lot like Manchester engineer John Douglas, has borrowed SCL GP16 #4621         
Lineville Subdivision train #587 (The Wadley Turn) is arriving from from the mountains of Alabama with Santa Claus at the controls. For many years, on the last Saturday before Christmas- the engineer of this train made it his personal mission to spread joy (and goodie bags) along his run. SCL GP16 #4621 was built 9/1960 as Seaboard Air Line GP18 #408, later became SCL #1064 and was rebuilt to GP16 standards `n May 1980
