| At dawn on a cold December 17, 2011, a warm glow can be seen inside BNSF dining car #10, the "Lake Superior" in the roads B Yard in San Bernardino, California. Elsewhere on this train, volunteers are hard at work preparing the train for the annual Southern California Christmas Train. The dining car staff will have breakfast ready soon, and after the first trip carrying excited children to the Summit of nearby Cajon Pass and return, the staff will have lunch ready for the crew and volunteers before making a second trip duplicating the first. |
