Early on Sunday morning, the police were in pursuit of a man who was driving without a license, was in possesion of cocaine and had a concealed weapon. The high speed chase ended up on North Arlington Street, where the man slid off the road, split a telephone pole into two and completely destroyed the one crossing signal. He was killed by the impacts, but the car rolled to a hault on track two of the CSX New Castle Sub. Here, we see Ohio Edison and CSX working to fix the damages. A new telephone pole has been erected and the CSX crew is digging into the ground to install the new wiring for the new crossing equipment. |
