| On December 2, 2010, a major lake-effect snow storm hit western New York state. The New York State Thruway was shut down in that part of the state. Hardest hit was West Seneca (32 inches of snow) and Buffalo SE, NY (24 inches of snow). CSX 5494 shows northwest Pennsylvanians what they missed as the westbound consist travels through Lake City, PA which received only 0.2 inches of snow. |
