| No water tank? No problem! On September 21, 2008, Santa Fe 4-8-4 3751 gets the water in the tender "topped off" while turning on the wye at CP Miramar, at the summit of Miramar Hill in San Diego. A fitting has been added to the bottom of the tender to facilitate the use of a nearby fire hydrant, rather than filling the tank from above as was done "back in the day". |
