| CP 96 on the Boston Line. These are the eastward absolute signals. This interlocking is the junction of the former NYC Athol Branch which curves left on the first switch after the derailer on track 3 and subsequently under I-291. It is now known as the Athol Industrial. This is the line that once traveled through the now flooded out towns in the Quabbin Re}ervoir. In later years, the Indian Orchard Industrial was built and continued east parallelling the Boston Line and then paralleled I-291. |
