The top container 100136 is exactly seven years old, as for being built in September 2005, by Jindo. Swift first started purchasing these steel China containers in September 2005. The bottom 948914 was manufactured by Singamas, in August 2011. Swift is still purchasing new containers, because I've seen some 946 and 947 series ones. I saw a 946977 which was built in July, by CIMC. This is the first time ever, that Swift Intermodal has bought containers from CIMC. Since they first started with these China containers in September 2005, it's been mostly Jindo, and Singamas, doing the manufacturing. Mostly Singamas. Now, CIMC is getting into the game as well.
