Ted Brumberg General Built in 1949 by Budd in Lot #9624-030 as SOU 44 seat diner #3307, 1 of 11 cars built in that Lot; SOU owned 8 (#3305-#3312), subsidiary CNO&TP owned 1 (#3869), A&WP owned 1 (#501), and L&N owned 1 (#2790). SOU sold 5 cars (1 CNO&TP) to Amtrak in 1979, which were reconfigured to 48 seat diner lounges as #8380-#8384, SOU #3307 as #8381. #8381 was planned to be converted to HEP standard diner #8522, but instead was converted to HEP grill diner #8558 in July 1985. 7/17/2014 10:52:17 PM
