Random Rolling Stock
There is a bunch of rolling stock rusting away in the Northwestern Pacific yard at Willits, CA. None of the cars have reporting marks on them but one was lettered for Amtrak. Any info on these cars would be appreciated.

Car on the far right was built in 1946 by AC&F in Lot #2910 as a NYC baggage (with end doors), 100 cars total, #9100-#9199. Amtrak acquired 66 of these cars as #1180-#1199 (1974) and #1210-#1255 (1976). The #12xx-series numbers were not applied, many of which were intended to be renumbered into lower #11xx-series numbers, which were also not applied. Several of the #1180-#1199 cars were converted to HEP, and several of the #12xx-series cars were selected for conversion to HEP generators. Many of the remaining cars were instead assigned #170xx-series MofW numbers, and were used both as storage sheds and tool cars, still in NYC paint, as is the car seen here.
