NP 390
NP 390 'Rainier Club' trailing the westbound North Coast Limited (NCL) on December 15, 1963, photo by Chuck Zeiler. The NCL stopped at Naperville for reasons I do not know, but since I lived next to the tracks, it afforded me the opportunity to grab my camera, run outside, and snap this image.

Jonathan Hinely General Great photo, that must be a rare photo. I don't recall ever seeing the white like that on the end 6/21/2012 3:43:37 PM
Orville Janssen General Believe it or not, that was the original Loewy scheme. The engines copied it to a degree; but it really didn't work. Better than the hockey stick that replaced it though. 9/27/2017 8:39:44 PM
