| NOW, i might as well tell you why there are no photos of this north bound Amtrak, so thinking as we where, we thought we could stand on the siding at montcalm landing and take a beautiful shot by the lake, WRONG SIR! me and my father both saw the train approching and saw that it was taking the siding (the one we where standing on) and our faces went white, there was little to no space to distance my self from this on coming train,and instead of giving the engineer a heart palpitation by crossing the tracks at the last minuet, i nestled my self in some thick pricker bushes to avoid death by a P-42, so no pictures of the northbound, but after surviving my close encounter with Amtrak, we figured another freight would be on its way,nope, just our southbound ADK. |
