Still standing in Jamestown, Tennessee is the former Oneida & Western railroad station. This was O&W's western terminal. The O&W operated between here and Oneida, Tennessee where it connected with the Southern Railway's CNO&TP. The railroad mainly hauled coal, lumber and the local mail. The last train departed this station on March 2nd, 1954 at 2:03pm. It has been used as a feed store and the baggage room as an arcade since then. Today it sits rotting. |
