DL 4810 - Delaware Lackawanna RR
Bringing up the rear of this album as it used to do on trains a long time ago is this DL caboose. Does anyone know the origins of this one? Was it an EL caboose?

Conrail classed these N8D..Some info from Conrail Cabins and Cabooses website "Welded, round roof cupola type, built on old steam locomotive tender frames from 1951 to 1954 by the Lackawanna in their Keyser Valley shops. Most of these cars were scrapped before renumbering. Some of the cars had sliding window screens installed. "

Just looked at my photos of 4810 from 12-23-12 and in the lower left-hand corner there's a stencil that reads " DL&W 882" :-)
