| Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 2-8-2 Class O-4 5513 at Denver, Colorado on an unknown month and day in 1956, photographer unknown, print by Tom Klinger, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 5513 was built by Baldwin in March 1919 (c/n 51620) to USRA Heavy Mikado standards, one of 15 USRA Heavy 2-8-2's on the CB&Q (road #'s 5500-5514). During 1955, at least six of the 5500's were sold to the C&S, and most were renumbered into the C&S 800 series. This locomotive was sold to the C&S and renumbered to C&S 809. It was sold for scrap in December 1960. |
