| The second engine on Q277-29, an EMD SD40-2 in new paint that has an interesting history. Built as KCS 605 SD40 in November 1966. Later it became Conrail 6963 and was rebuilt to an SD40-2R. It still has its original short SD40 body. Here you can see that along with a repainting, it has had an air conditioning unit added to the roof. |
