Have heard this train was coming into the area I decided to go out and try to catch it. Interestingly, this train would stop on the track 2 and temporarily tied down. The crew from the K252 would then assist a foreman who needed the W962 moved onto the siding in Fonda, NY. Much to the dismay of the crew and dispatcher this move to much longer than anticipated. Finally, after about 3 hours, the crew has returned to the K252 and is seen on the move again here was it continues it's trip west. This train will ultimately end up in Fort Edward, NY via the former D&H where it will be loaded with dirty sludge. The sludge is from the Hudson River where a large dredging project is being conducted. |
