The Salina, Kansas, Santa Fe freight station
This will be a brief album. While out walking my dog I photographed several railroad structures around my hometown, Salina, Kansas. This is the Santa Fe freight station and was used by the Kansas and Oklahoma railroad. This photo was taken in March 2011. The station is now gone. The faded and worn Santa Fe herald can still be seen above the "Salina" designation.

Mark Dinkel General Thanks, Olaf! One of the final pictures to be taken of this structure as it has now been demolished. Union Pacific's Salina Union Station can be seen in the background to the right. 12/22/2012 7:43:01 PM
